People's Security Now Offers WaterCop®
The WaterCop® is an automatic water shut-off system that installs on your main water supply line. Installation of the WaterCop® is added protection against floods and can significantly and effectively reduce the chances of property damage and may even help you qualify for discounts on home insurance premiums.
Flooding and water damage caused by aging, faulty and defective plumbing and appliances costs homeowners billions of dollars each year. Washing machine hoses split, pipes freeze and burst, dishwashers leak, toilets overflow and water heaters fail.
The WaterCop® can be integrated with a security system or purchased as a stand alone fixture.
You can use control buttons on the face of the WaterCop® control valve to shut off the water supply, install a remote wall switch to turn off water from a convenient location or have a button programmed on your security system control panel.
The WaterCop® utilizes sensors to detect water leakage. By placing sensors near or under washing machines, water heaters, ice-makers, dishwashers, humidifiers, sinks, toilets and other areas that are most likely to be the source of water leaks, the WaterCop® detects as little as a few ounces of water to activate the system.
